Collection: JINSUI

Jinsui, a pottery studio in Tokoname City, Aichi Prefecture, has been producing Tokoname ware for nearly 100 years. With delicate and advanced techniques unique to Jinsui, such as "Ceramesh" and "Futasuri", the entire pottery-making process is carried out by hand by a dozen women. Tokoname ware, by nature, is pottery made from clay rich in iron found in the Chita Peninsula. When crafted into teapots, the iron content in the Tokoname clay reacts with the tannins in the tea, enhancing its flavor. As a result, Tokoname ware has long been cherished in Japan, particularly for its teapots. Jinsui’s teapots, known for their refined design and colors that blend with modern life, bring a special presence that makes the experience of drinking tea feel more precious.
